The Bleed Episode 0.1 – Sex Criminals Volume 1 (With Podcast!!!)

The Bleed is a weekly book club by Bleeding Cool contributors, joining every Wednesday on Google Hangout to discuss news, the latest comics, and the pick of the week. Rest assured, this ain’t your daddy’s book club. Unless your dad was in a book club that exclusively discussed comics, in which case your dad probably kicks ass.

In this week’s installment, Joe Schmidt (@woeisjoe), David Dissanyake (@dwdissanayake) and Erik Grove (@erikgrove) discuss Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky’s award-winning Sex Criminals Volume 1!

See the video and join the conversation on Bleeding Cool at the link here:

The Bleed – From Some of Bleeding Cool’s Top Writers – Discusses Sex Criminals Vol. 1

And, exclusive to (while we’re working out the iTunes submission process for podcasts) we are pleased to introduce you to the downloadable, audio only version for all of your audio listening needs. Maybe you need The Bleed while you’re driving to work or trotting on the treadmill or maybe you’d like the dulcet velvet-y tones of The Bleed to lull you to sleep. There’s no judgments here.

Check back every Wednesday at 5:30 pm PST (8:30 EST) for the live Hangout and participate in the discussion with#thebleedbc.

We will be back next week with our Season Premier. After ironing out all of the kinks, we think we’re ready to finally wear these big boy pants. Come to the pants party next Wednesday, August 20th, where we’ll be discussing Bryan Lee O’Malley’s new graphic novel, Seconds. Joining the usual gang will be Ryan Burton, writer of the new hit comic Dark Engine from Image. Click here to view the Google Hangout.
